AAA Best Practice Audit*. AAA is a process of evaluating the critical nature of risk associated with a process, establishing the level of risk based on world class criteria, and determining what improvements are needed to adequately control the risk.  The AAA assessment process provides management with a method to objectively identify steps to improve their risk management system.

Food Safety. We evaluate exposures and controls including conducting assessments of food exposures, developing policies and procedures, and submitting recommendations and programs to help mitigate exposures.  The HACCP analyzes hazards, Identify critical control points, establish procedures to monitor the critical control points, establish corrective actions to be taken when monitoring shows that a critical limit has not been met, establish procedures to verify that system is working properly and establish effective record keeping.

Life Safety. Life safety involves exposures to employees, guests, and visitors. We've been part of the NFPA 101 Technical Committee since 1994, helping to craft the Life Safety Code.  In addition to operational control assessments such as fire and emergency plans, emergency drills, maintenance procedures, and review of documentation, we can review issues such as fire detection/alarm systems, exit design and arrangement, occupant load vs egress capacity, emergency lighting, and exit marking.

Products Liability.

  • Identify existing and potential products liability exposures from present and past products;
  • Identify potential for product failure or misuse, and the corresponding injury, damage, or consequential loss;
  • Assess exposures to determine proper corrective action;
  • Using a systematic approach, we can provide assistance in:
    • Policies and Procedures
    • Product Design/Compliance
    • Quality Control
    • Product Warning
    • Legal and Risk Transfer
    • Record Keeping
    • Recalls
    • “CE” Mark Consultations

Security Liability We evaluate potential for violence and recommend management programs and physical protection to minimize this exposure.  Areas evaluated include foreseeability, actual or constructive notice, design and arrangement, review of security systems and equipment, CCTV, lighting, guard services, passive security/key control measures, staff selection/training and:

  • Threat Management Plan
  • Robbery Prevention Program
  • Travel Safety Plan
  • Access Control Policy
  • Zero-Tolerance Policy
