The academy is part of ESIS Asia Pacific, which provides risk control services throughout the region for workplace safety and health. It is the regional office for ESIS Inc, which was organized in 1953 and as part of ACE USA, provides a full range of sophisticated risk management services to organizations that self-insure property & casualty exposures or that independently purchase insurance service. ESIS aims to reduce clients’ cost of loss by providing contemporary and effective risk management products and services around the world.

Having served small and medium enterprises to multi-national corporations, ESIS has a deep understanding of organisational training needs. Courses are structured to be relevant, effective and flexible. They can be conducted in-house.
Our trainers have an average of 15 years’ experience in workplace safety and health across industries and around the Asia-Pacific region. They have strong and diverse technical skills and knowledge, certified by Master degrees in Safety, Health and Environmental Technology, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics.
With current approval from the Ministry of Manpower as Workplace Safety and Health Officers, Fire Safety Managers, Noise and Air Control Officers, Safety Auditors and Risk Consultants, they have contemporary knowledge based on field practice.
They maintain such professional memberships and certification, demonstrating commitment toward continuing professional improvement and keeping ahead of developments in workplace safety and health.
The academy is a well-equiped facility with classrooms, projectors and refreshments. The building’s art deco front façade won an Architectural Heritage Award from the Urban Redevelopment Authority in 1995 for excellence in building restoration. It is well-served served by public transportation, with many buses and MRT stations nearby.
